Speaking Out for the Voiceless: Protecting the Human Rights of Religious Minorities Worldwide (2021 AJC Philadelphia/Southern NJ Murray Friedman Memorial Lecture). Described by Newsweek as the most influential rabbi in America, Rabbi David Saperstein, Director Emeritus at the Religious Action Center of Reform Judaism & former U.S. Ambassador-at-Large for Intern'l Religious Freedom (2015-2017), joins American Jewish Committee (AJC) for the annual Murray Friedman Memorial Lecture. Rabbi Saperstein will discuss the challenges facing intern'l religious freedom, the means to address religious persecution & discrimination worldwide, & the importance of interfaith dialogue. This Memorial Lecture honors the legacy of noted Jewish activist & scholar Murray Friedman (z”l), AJC Phila/SNJ Regional Director for over 40 years. No fee to attend.
