Join us for this FREE class about canning fruits and vegetables! Planting and harvesting a summer garden can be hard work and lots of fun!! When your harvest is plentiful, what do you do with all of that fresh produce?? Learn some basic information that will help you preserve your summer bounty. This class will review the steps involved with canning fruits and vegetables. Penn State Extension Educator, Mandel Smith, will discuss research based canning methods, share recipes and answer questions.
