Event Description:
AAA East Central is sponsoring a free VIN Etching Event. Permanent engraving of a vehicle's federally registered VIN numbers deters auto theft because it prevents thieves from switching the VIN number plate on the dashboard to mask its identity. The process does not harm windows and doesn't detract from the vehicle's appearance. participants are asked to pre-register their vehicles inside the branch office on the day of the event.
