As the pandemic subsides in 2021 and beyond, how will the region's lucrative tourism industry begin to recover and thrive?
Mike Bowman, President & CEO of the Valley Forge Tourism & Convention Board (VFTCB), will discuss how heavily COVID has impacted the travel and hospitality industry, as well as the VFTCB’s strategic 2021 Relaunch Plan to reinvigorate a positive economic impact for Montgomery County, PA with revamped experiences, a focus on sports and social gatherings (reunions, weddings), and support for small businesses like restaurants and arts and culture venues using technology and communication like never before.
Jim Cohn, Editor/Publisher of Mid-Atlantic Events Magazine, will share a bit of history about the company and magazine, and the events the magazine has been involved with in the past. He will talk about the types of events he believes will be back first as the pandemic subsides, and which will come thereafter. Jim will elaborate on one of his favorite sayings, "In-Sight...In-Mind" now and for the future.
